Hey guys, I’m going to be wrapping up a few posts that I’ve been putting off for quite some time. I figure now’s a good time to clean the inbox and share a few neat songs with you before we go off the air on the 26th. No worries though, Kata Rokkar will be back on the 2nd of January with a slew of new Kuestionnaires and few more surprises. So sit back, relax, and enjoy these little musical gifts from me.
The new Nueva Forma website was launched not too long ago. They seem to have created they’re own genre (Acousmatic Pop) of electronic music and are showcasing artists like White Car, Masmöd and Gejius. All of which are showing signs of potential in the ambient and dance department…oh wait I’m sorry, Acousmatic Pop.

Ambient electro-drone artist Project 5AM has released a slow and somewhat romantic remix of The Beach Boy’s “God Only Knows.” Oh and he has also released a soothing music video here.

Division Kent seem to drop remixes on a daily basis. But that’s not bad thing considering most of them are brilliantly composed and undeniably danceable.

I really don’t know what to say about this ART WHIPLASH track. I guess the song follows somewhere along the lines of that “headbanging dance” music that’s gotten so popular over the past couple years. But with remixes by Toxic Avenger and Youth Attack, I guess you could say this young DJ is on the right track.

NONEWYORK seems to be taking the Bay Area by storm with their infectiously beat-hungry song, Cocaine Bassline. You can almost see the flashing lights that ought to be synchronized to this track…ooo, I’m getting dizzy…
