British blues rock outfit Band of Skulls are playing this Wednesday’s RUMBLE: SAN FRANCISCO party just two days before they play KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic, and five days before they play with Metric and Sebastien Grainger at the The Wiltern LG in LA. Tonight they’ll debut their new album “Baby Darling Doll Face Honey” in San Francisco at the Harlot party. From what I’ve heard of the new disc, it’s quite impressive for fans of Dan Auerbach and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
Tonight’s highlight for me is guest DJ Yoni Wolf from Why? (Anticon)…and that beers are $2 and Ultimat Vodka drinks are $4? Yummers!
Get out there now! After all….it’s FREE!
RSVP here.

Guess what? It’s Friday! That means you need to cut loose a bit and maybe dance for no reason whatsoever. Well if you decide to do the latter, here’s some dance party worthy shit to get silly to…
Tonedeff – Warden (Love Lovedown RMX) – Tonedeff does a better job than Kanye at this redo of Mr. West’s first single of his new album.
Gejius – Makkuro Kurosuke – Words can not tell you how much I love this song. It sounds as though Cibo Matto collaborated with Four Tet, it’s just so badass.
Art Whiplash – Party, Sex and Bullshit (Youth Attack! Disco and Bullshit Remix) – If Art’s original version of Party, Sex and Bullshit didn’t have enough kick for you, this remix will surely have you on the dance floor.
Techjio – Olivia - If you thought their remix of Pantera’s “Walk” was brutal, check out some of their original material. It won’t make you want to mosh, but it’s still quite intense.
Metalion – Masked Funke – You hear that? That’s the sound of potential. Remember the name, you might want to keep an eye on this one.
