This Week In Bay Area Live Shows: Jan 25 – 31

Sunday, January 25th, 2009

Yet another busy week in the Bay Area. Well, I take that back, usually the week is pretty slow when it comes to shows and the weekend is chock full of awesomeness. However this week is wall to wall greatness all around. Particularly this coming weekend. If you are keeping track of the SF Sketchfest, then you know that Tim Meadows, Andy Richter, Bob Odenkirk, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Paul F. Tompkins, and Zach Galifianakis will be in town. Songs For People That Work The Weekend

Friday, January 16th, 2009

If you’re looking at this picture and going, “uhh…and?” That thing in the top right hand corner is the final moments of the Airbus 320 as it descends towards the Hudson River yesterday. A miracle indeed. I try to imagine exactly what would be going through my mind as my plane descends to what seems like sudden death, “…that was the best ice-cream soda I ever tasted!”

Thing-To-Keep-You-Busy-At-Work: Type in ODB lyrics into Microsoft Sam. Let the hilarity ensue.

This mix of songs is for anyone who has to work the weekend (like me). None of the songs have anything to do with work (as far as I know) or weekends. I just thought I’d like to listen to this music while I’m typing in ODB lyrics into Microsoft Sam…uh, I mean, working.
